Bridging the Gap Educational Forum (May 29, 2013)

Recognizing that service providers work with clients who frequently have multiple and complex needs, the Toronto ABI Network and the Toronto Human Services and Justice Coordinating Committee, sponsored an all day educational forum on May 29, 2013 at the University Centre of Toronto Rehab/UHN.  The day brought together over 80 service providers from shelters, hospitals, inner city health teams, mental health teams, and a variety of other community service agencies to learn about brain injury, homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health court support programs.  The presentations focused on research findings, clinical issues, resources and strategies that service providers can use to support their clients.

We wish to thank the following speakers who shared their insights, research and clinical expertise and who helped make the day a great success.  Electronic copies of each presentation as well as additional resources can be downloaded from the links below.
