Toronto ABI Network honours Dr. Peter Rumney
At the September Back to School 2013 Conference, Hospital to Home: Working Collaboratively, the Toronto ABI Network was pleased to honour Dr. Peter Rumney in recognition of his longstanding commitment and service to children and their families following brain injury. Dr. Rumney is currently the Physician Director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto, affiliated with the Department of Neurology at The Hospital for Sick Children. He is also Co-Director of the Centre for Leadership in Brain Injury at the hospital.
Through his clinical practice, his administrative roles and his research, Dr. Rumney has been a champion for children who have suffered a brain injury. He has tirelessly served these children and their families, and those of us in the brain injury community extend our heartfelt thanks to him for devoting himself to a career that has truly made a difference. In regonition of his contribution to the ABI community, the Toronto ABI Network made a donation in his name to the Holland Bloorview Foundation.
