Toronto ABI Network undertakes strategic planning process

The Toronto ABI Network is undertaking a strategic planning process to set its direction for the future.

In the past several years, the demand for ABI services has continued to grow and change. This planning process will help us to determine our strategic priorities going forward and allow us to focus our efforts as we work to improve the quality and accessibility of services for people with ABI. Using a framework developed through the Rotman School of Management, we will consider critical questions using a process that is data driven and focuses on realistic options.

The Network has a strong foundation on which to build. We have proven successes in managing referrals, connecting people with resources, ensuring continuity of care and providing educational opportunities for ABI service providers. The engagement of our members has been critical to these efforts.

Members and other stakeholders will be actively involved in the planning process through a number of activities:

• Interviews with a cross-section of members to gather input on the value of the Network and suggested priorities for the next three years.

• A facilitated session with the Advisory committee to reflect on this input and determine next steps.

We look forward to the work ahead and will keep you informed as the process moves forward.
