Virtual Care Resources
Virtual care is the use of any form of communication or technology (e.g., telephone, private messaging, videoconferencing) by health care providers to facilitate or increase patient care.1,2 Virtual care may also be referred to as telehealth, telemedicine and telerehabilitation or telerehab.2,3,4
One virtual care option is offered at the Telerehab Centre for Acquired Brain Injury, which provides online, group educational programs and therapies to individuals across Ontario living with the enduring effects of acquired brain injury. Please visit them online to learn more and/or download their referral form.
